I'm trying my hand at something new these days. I'm on a quest to restore balance and natural order to my life. What better way than to meditate? Am I on the road to becoming a master Yogi? Naaahhh. Not really. I'm not even practicing a specific technique set by a religion. I'm just trying to relax and focus on me. Benefits include a healthier mind, body, and overall emotional well being. Imagine dedicating a few moments of your day to enhance your whole entire life. I try to do mine first thing in the morning to provide myself with a bit of clarity for the rest of the day. I usually do it in my room, sitting on my bed, feet flat on the ground. Unfortunately I missed it today (New Year's Day) and went for a walk instead. I promise you, skipping my morning meditation was a bad idea. I swear it's keeping me level headed, when I do practice. So, here are my 5 easy steps to instant meditation.
This year has been.... interesting.
By interesting, I mean a real crap shoot. So many deaths, the election, the backstabbing, the dishonesty, and the disappointment. But, through it all, there was a silver lining to this terrible year.
